A new 121-space, 5000m2 car park that included bulk earthworks, pavement construction, landscaping, perimeter fencing, automated access gates, signage and line marking, all carefully coordinated to ensure a seamless and efficient outcome. Throughout the project, our team maintained a strong focus on quality, safety and programme management, ensuring all elements were delivered to a high standard and fully integrated into the surrounding environment.
A significant challenge encountered during construction was the presence of extensive rock across the site, requiring substantial excavation and removal works beyond those originally anticipated. Through proactive planning, effective resource allocation and a commitment to meeting the client’s critical completion date, our team implemented an accelerated construction programme that included extended working hours and continued operations through the Christmas shutdown period. These measures enabled us to overcome the unforeseen ground conditions and deliver the completed car park ready for occupation exactly when required, ensuring the client’s operational needs were met without delay.
